About Remark Therapy

Hey There

A woman with long brown hair, glasses, and wearing a white sweater, smiling and holding a coffee mug with the celebration of Houston, Texas, written on it, in an office setting.

It’s nice to meet you

I founded Remark Therapy inspired by my father’s business, Remark Home Designs. At that time, I was looking for more flexibility in my schedule and wanted to create a therapy practice that aligned with my personal values and truly met my clients’ needs.

My vision is to provide a warm, inviting, and supportive space for therapy in Houston and online, where clients of all ages can feel safe to show up as their authentic selves, no matter where they are in their healing journey.

Whether you’re seeking help for anxiety, trauma, depression, or life transitions, Remark Therapy offers compassionate, evidence-based therapy tailored to you.

Here, you have a space for healing, growth, and rediscovery.

Living room with a large colorful area rug, a green armchair, a small orange armchair with a black 8 ball pillow, a brown sofa with pillows, a side table with a small glass top, and a large window with blinds showing trees outside. Decor includes a wall hanging that says 'it's cool to be kind', a green lamp, and various small decorative objects on the windowsill and side table.

Education:

  • Eastern Michigan University: Bachelors of Science

  • University of Michigan: Masters of Social Work

  • Licensure: Licensed Clinical Social Worker through the state of Texas.

Originally from Michigan, I relocated to Houston in the summer of 2021 — definitely the hottest time of year to make the move! Outside of therapy, I’m a self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur and love all things cozy, from reading and puzzles to sipping tea. You’ll also often hear about my lively pup, Cooper.

Above all, I truly love my work. Being a therapist isn’t just a job for me, it’s a fulfilling calling that allows me to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

My clinical experience spans behavioral therapy, residential care, and private practice. Drawing from these diverse settings, I provide personalized, compassionate care tailored to your unique needs, whether you’re dealing with anxiety, trauma, or life transitions.
